Apartment is new, clean and very good equipped - all basics you need are there (towels, kitchen dishes, coffee maker etc). Lots of space, pleasant view outside big windows, free parking spot. Walking distance to the center, although you need to climb up a bit when coming back. Host is helpful and nice.

The small cottage was cozy and perfect for our small family. A perfect place from which to explore the hiking trails around the Hruba Skala rocks. Our host was kind and very accomodating, even allowing us to book last minute on the day of arrival. The cottage is a side building in the courtyard of a small horse farm, with wonderful dogs, rabbits, chickens roaming around. We had a small dog with us and everyone got along well. We loved it and would like to go again sometime.

We had to travel a lot, so we didn't use the breakfast service, but the lunch dishes are delicious. We are very grateful to the staff for the opportunity to have a stress-free departure day and strict rules to move out at 10:00 or 11:00. We just left the key in the post box on our way out at 11:30 as it was much more convenient for us on our route to another city and the staff didn't see a problem with it. During the trip, such extra minutes and the attitude of the staff encourage you to return to this hotel.

The location was in the Bohemian Paradise. Easy to reach by car, but there is also a bus stop right outside.

It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but...
It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but plenty in a short car distance. We were visiting via ferrata 'Vodni brana' that is located nearby, Prachovské skály, socialist vehicle museum in Železný Brod, Chateau Hruby Rohozec in Turnov, and some other things. In Semily we eat in Da Giorgio restaurant and we can reccomend this place.
The hotel was a 100+ years old historical building. It had nice staff, good variety of food for breakfast, prepared even more upon request. Free parking was available on the street depending on availability and also private one just for the hotel guests. Overall had all it needed for the price we paid. It is located walking distance of the centre. Very old school rustic feeling with high ceiling. The town has a friendly feeling of a mountain village with a lot of snow during our stay.
