Immaculate property with walkable location to center. Historic bridge and museum are just a fifteen minute walk away. The apartment on the top floor across the parking lot from the main hotel was ideal for our family of four. Our daughter had her own twin in a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom. In the open kitchen area next to the dining table was a twin bed for our son. In the adjacent private room with French doors was a queen sized double with sitting area and large screen tv. There is also a desk and free WiFi in this large master bedroom. The additional bathroom was large with a walk in shower and plenty of room.
Set in a former cinema building in central Písek, Hotel Biograf offers a traditional restaurant serving classics of Czech cuisine. Reception is open 24 hours and Wi-Fi is free of charge.

It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Specially the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was great and plenty, the room was pristine, the bed was comfy and the internet speed was good for working online. Will stay here next year for sure!

I highly recommend Hotel Art when staying in Pisek. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. It is located right off the city square.
Room was very nice and comfortable
and it was very quiet. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Pisek. Also, excellent complimentary breakfast. It's a great choice.
Pisek is known as "Little Prague." It is a lovely, historic town on the Otava River with great restaurants and cafes, a stone bridge that is older than Charles Bridge in Prague, an interesting city museum, and easy access to numerous hiking and bicycling trails. Great castles (e.g. Orlik, Zvikov) are nearby. It was liberated by the US 3rd Army at the end of WWII. Well worth a visit!

Hotel was almost empty as it was low season (November) and as a result many of the facilities were not available which is understandable but worth noting. Location is good for outdoor activities in the hills but out of the way if you want the town. Exceptionally cheap so no complaints.
staff is very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself need a renovation, furniture is outdated, price performance ration is not good, location is ok
