As only one guest at times during my 7 days stay the staff made everything possible to make my stay comfortable, including some none standard equipment, such as a tea kettle and a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable, the hotel very quiet and the heating worked well. Breakfast was served as a buffet style and I could even order extras such as scrambled eggs as a courtesy request.
The hotel is dated, but clean and functional.
Couple of minor issues were motion activated corridor lightning did not work well and a shoe horn wasn't on the room.
All in all value for my money and I recommend other to give it a shot 👍🤪
The luxurious Parkhotel is set in a peaceful residential neighborhood, next to a large park. The Glass Museum lies just 984 feet away.

Friendly personnel, and a great breakfast. If you are looking for value-for-money, this is certainly a place to go. We requested a safe place to store our bikes and they provided an indoors bike shed.

This was the best stay in the area. Great views and immaculate facilities in a very spacious place. All the while it is close to nearby travel spots. Definitely recommended!

It’s a Pension, meaning the front desk isn’t continuously staffed — It’s a family business.
I emailed when i would be there. The son Peter took time off from cleaning rooms to check me in.
Great service, wonderful breakfast, and right next to Petr Novotny’s glass museum, restaurant and glass blowing factory. You should visit there too, and look at Griža’s outdoor Glass salvage shop — lovely imperfect pieces for 1€.
Decent pub next door, and an easy walk to town center, city glass museum, brewpub, and just over 1 hour up the Klič/Kleis hill with good views all around.
Highly recommend — I’ll be back.
Busy on weekends, but calm on the 2 days i visited.

I started coming here almost 30 years ago because it was my grandfather’s home town. If you like to learn about and watch glassblowing, this is the place. If you like relaxed hiking without having to pack a lunch, this is the area — through the woods from village to village. It’s only 60 miles from Prague, but a different world, calm and uncrowded. Outside of hotel staff, don’t expect much English, but you’ll get by…

Really surprised by the local restaurants!
Really surprised by the local restaurants! The Asian restaurant was a delightful surprise and then a fantastic surprise brunch in the square -totally did not expect that from a small place like Novy Bor!
