Good location, for someone with a car, it's pretty close to the most ski resorts in the area. If you don't have a car, then look for another one close to the ski resort and accept to pay higher.
Our room is spacious.
They have good price on the rooms.

Very central in Jachymov which indeed is a small place. Very clean and comfortable rooms at a very good cost/benefit level. Affordable prices at the separate SPA that is also a serious establishment. If you want massage and extras the prices are normal. It is hard to find restaurants in Jachymow after 19-20 hours. However, after the buffet of the hotel finished, they made an effort to cook for us a la carte. The breakfast is good above average standard. It was for us a very positive surprise.
Located in the centre of the spa town Jachymov, 100 metres from the Jachymov Lazne bus stop, the Penzion Haus Regrus offers en-suite rooms with a satellite TV and free WiFi.

Location was perfect for us as we were passing thought this area,
and needed somewhere nice to stay. We loved the fridge where drinks were availible as we just didn't want to go out looking for a shop.

Jáchymov waits to be discovered by more people, as the little town in the UNESCO World Heritage area "Ore Mountains" is gearing up to offer a good past time without overcrowding. Most astonishing might be the fact that the local silver coin called (Joachims)Thaler gave the name to the nowadays Dollar! This can be seen in the local museum. The world's oldest Uranium mine can be visited once weekly, and on a daily base a small mine copy is accesible at the tourist info opposite the Spa center (swimming pool, excellent sauna, salt inhalations etc.). Some cosy cafés and restaurants offer yummy specialities, otherwise groceries
If the Prima Express lift to the Klinovec peak operates so does the ski bus line D. More ski resorts higher in the mountains can be reached in short time by local buses (DPKV operator). Karlovy Vary is possible as a a day trip.

The city of Jáchymov is unfortunately marked by its location. The city has no historical center, it is allocated along a long exit street that crosses the city for more than two kilometers, the city is full of only hotels and guesthouses for spa guests. Restaurants are only part of these establishments and close very early - between 9 and 10 o'clock. The only thing that Jáchymov is proud of (besides the spa) is the former uranium mines, which can be visited. And then walk in the surrounding nature.

Nice little town.
Nice little town. Need a better information system about time and days of tours...it was just changing into low season and it was difficult to find right info about opening hours. Also attractions need updates online as well. Otherwise very relaxing atmosphere and overall we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this town for visit.

Jachymov is a pretty village with beautiful forests and in mountains. It has within walking distance a number of restaurants and cafes. The big spa with sauna and pools is just down the hill. The air was fresh and vibrant and scenery just perfect. We loved Jachymov and would return. Incognito Cafe was a treasure.

The town looks a bit deserted, due to Covid and low season.
The town looks a bit deserted, due to Covid and low season. Neither less, you can find small open (mostly asian) grocery stores even at holidays.
The Agricola spa/pool definitely worth a visit. At the evening we were often alone there and it was like a private pool!
To learn the controversy history of the place, take the bus to Jachymov, radnice and look at the mines. You can also reach Karlovy Vary in ca. 40 min by bus, the fare usually can be paid by card.
At the Christmas we did not try the local eateries, but it is hard to find a bad food in Czechia. They do not like to hurry up though, so plan enough time!

Although the a fine skiarea in the neighborhood the village has nearly no facilities such as restaurants and shops.
Lots of wellness hotels but you need to be a guest to use their facilities.
A nice bathing establishment with sauna and spa can be found in the center, but it is often overbooked in high seasonsas everything else in the village.
Great service. Pleasant and attentive staff, a cozy restaurant with a real and cheerful rabbit 😊 Fast service in the restaurant. There was no Wi-Fi in our hotel next to the restaurant. Overall a good experience, and close proximity to the ski slopes.
Super and friendly hosts, beautiful location and full of character and charm. My 6 year old boy loved the toy collection and the view. He describes the hotel as a “castle” and can’t wait to visit again when we go mountain biking or skiing.
