The manager, Tomas, was very courteous and accommodating. Loved the sauna with the mountain view. It's just special. The breakfast was quite good.

The facilities incl. breakfast and dinner was great value. The room had a large led tv, nice seating and table arrangement, but no kettle otherwise nice comfortable. Hot water shower took a good 10 mins to heat up but was from then on nicely hot.
Dinner was great on arrival day and both times breakfast but 2nd dinner wasn't as good, just 2 choices to compare to buffet dinner with 5 different varieties and salad etc. Staff was always very attentive and helpful in any possible way.

A bit of a tired building and a bit soul-less but the buffet dinner was great and the staff friendly.

A gorgeous town in the mountains.
A gorgeous town in the mountains. Having stayed previously in different towns in Krkonose like Smrzovka, and Spindleruv Mlyn I can definitely say I prefer Harrachov. It's a great size, with nice restaurants and hotels, but remote enough for you to feel you are escaping the hustle and bustle of the cities and towns.
The nature around is beautiful, and the waterfalls, mountains and forests that engulf the town are perfect for leisurely walks and exploration.

It is low quality, expensive for czech and must be hell when it is high season or good weather as it is small for the volume of peole from cz, poland and germany visiting...I loved the waterfalls and nature and that is why I would go to the area never to stay in harrochov

I love Harrachov in both winter and summer and travel here...
I love Harrachov in both winter and summer and travel here regularly. The town is lovely, not overcrowded, offers good skiing opportunities as for this part of Europe (we ski in Rokytnice, but it's only 10mins drive) and great hiking hills. There is a fair number of restaurants there - if you're not vegetarian :) Being vegetarian myslelf, it's not always easy to find something reasonable and I usually rely on one of 2 places that I know. Pirces are reasonable and people are friendly.

Extraordinary place in a beautiful, calm part of Harrachov. Beautiful landscape around. A lot of decent restos within walking distance. Flexible breakfast hours allow for early start of the day. Great location for bike riding in Giant Mountains!
