Amazing location, nice and modern room, lights under the bed were a very nice touch, clean everywhere, comfortable, nice decor on the hallways, nice view on the back side to the church on the hill, breakfast was nice, not too many variations but plenty of options, i liked that they don't waste food (but still have one type of eggs and not 10 types where people will only eat a few, sausage, vegetables, yogurts, good coffee, one or two types of cake). The restaurant was also very nice, with good food, good price and the staff was very nice. Parking in front of the hotel on the street was ok,

Bzenec is a quiet town in Moravian Slovakia. There are important attractions, however, such as the local wine industry and the tunnels under the square. Check out the Tourist Information Centre on the main square. If you want to visit the local Jewish cemetery, you need to make a prior arrangement. The main square is a five-minute walk from the train station and the town has an hourly train service to and from Brno.

Bzenec is well known for its wine production, as well as for its historical Jewish museum and Jewish cemetery. If you're a good walker or travelling by car, make the effort to go up to the Chapel of St. Florian and St. Sebastian on the hill behind the main square, where you can get a superb view of the surrounding vineyards, Chriby Hills and the White Carpathians.
In winter it is quiet and restful, with beautiful Christmas lighting. I'm a big fan of short, relaxing overnight breaks so Bzenec is ideal.
The main square is a five-minute walk from the train station - the best means of public transport at the moment, as there is a bypass being built that complicates road travel.
The Beta and Lidovy Dum hotels are both comfortable and reasonably priced, with good restaurants, but choose the Lidovy Dum if you are not good with stairs. If you run short of supplies, there are numerous local businesses on the square, as well as a Coop supermarket next to the Beta hotel.
