Small little village, great location to explore the island (a bit far from Paphos though) or to have a relaxed holiday stay , very close to few nice beaches, and in between Larnaca and Limassol. It has 2 taverns and a small grocery store. Super close to beautiful Lefkara.

Hidden in the valley the old stone traditional Cypriot...
Hidden in the valley the old stone traditional Cypriot village is a real delight that makes you relax the moment you arrive.
It has a village shop and a couple of restaurants for days when you want to relax by the pool and avoid the car.
The location is also perfect for going to nearby beaches or traveling into Limassol or Larnaca as based halfway between both. Plenty of walks and hiking, biking trails too if that is your interest.

It is a perfectly quiet location in the medieval village, ideal for those who are looking for a tranquil and secluded retreat. The convenient location allows for short daily trips to explore Cyprus. The village boasts a minimarket just a few minutes' walk away, as well as a tavern.

I highly recommend Tochni for staying.
I highly recommend Tochni for staying. It is a lovely village with a lovely tavern, great tourists (not the ones you find on the beachside in that horrible hotels).
It is very well connected to Larnaca, only 20 mins to the airport but it feels miles away from the busy city.
The nearest beach, Governor’s beach, is 10 mins by car and it was one of the best I found in my trip for quality of the water, secludedness, facilities (parking and tavern by the beach).
I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely traditional village - beautiful buildings and a great taverna - Nostos. Church in the centre with early morning bell-ringing, and waking up to the sound of the priest and birdsong.
Close to other lovely villages too.

Beautiful setting with lovely view across the village of Tochni.
Loved the little apartments and had a next door apartment to our friends which meant we could eat/drink/chat/socialise together comfortably.
Bed was very comfortable. Loved the style of decoration/rooms.
Great taverna (Nostos) down the road.
Lovely terrace area with nice pool (although didn't use it as was February!)
Staff fairly attentive. New water boiler (brikki) was provided when we said out kettle would not plug into the wall.
Good dinner in the restaurant. Tochni village is beautiful. And here it ends for the good side. Right upon arrival, we immediately got the first red flag regarding the place's general attitude and business vision: the manager was busy trying to convice us to dine in their retsaurant rather than explaining how WiFi worked or sharing any other, more relevant check-in information. Pushy, greedy management was a first warning sign for what followed.
The place is nice, clean and very quiet, we have enjoyed our vacation here very much.
There are 2 taverns serving local food close to the appartment, there is a washing machine, big fridge and air condition.
A small espresso machine would be a nice benefit but we have managed and enjoyed Cyprus coffee localy.
Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. The nearby Tochni Tavern is a good place for dinner, although it does involve a walk uphill. The location is very quiet and has a good view from the balcony.
