The best breakfast after two plus weeks in Cyprus. Great sleeping accommodations and a bathroom to match. Paid parking only a few steps away

Probably the most luxurious, high tech and comfortable place to stay in the cypriot mountains. I had the most amazing experience at Le Vert Suites in Platres very recently.
The building is newly renovated and the rooms are fully equipped with first class amenities. I loved the super comfy bed (sooo comfy!) and all the high tech facilities, from the QR code automated entrance at the check-in and check out, to the smart controls and automations for the lighting and heating systems.
As for the location? I felt like a local chilling on my balcony with a view of the centre of the village. Many places to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee/snacks all around the building, at any time. Just a 2 min walk from the Kaledonia nature's trail! Will definitely visit again! 💯 👌
POED Residences in Platres provides accommodations with a rooftop pool and a garden. There's a private entrance at the condo hotel for the convenience of those who stay.

The place is like a forest resort escape, we stayed for one night, the beds are comfortable and the location is very quiet. The weather was cold and rainy but the two floors were nice and warm. Not much to do, just relax and enjoy nature. We didnt take breakfast, but there is a full functioning kitchen that you can use. If you're staying longer, you might want to equip yourself for some grocery, the closest (good) supermarket is AlphaMega is 10Km away. We stayed in early April, there is very little activity to do in the village, it sleeps early, which was not a problem for us.
Centrally located in Pedoulas village, the family-run Christys Palace Hotel offers rooms with free WiFi, while some boast village and mountain views.

Very friendly home-type hotel. It is rather simple in terms of the interior, but it was not an issue for us. Great view from the window on the mountains.

Simply, EVERYTHING!
We were welcomed warmly by the daughter, and she kindly showed us to the room. It was super clean and beautiful. Everything you could think of was available and because the second room wasn’t booked that night we had the whole garden privately to ourselves.
We had dinner at their restaurant and it was AMAZING. The next morning, breakfast was very rich and delicious and it was complimentary with the room. The owner of the place was very welcoming and nice and we enjoyed our time and it was lovely to meet him.

This is a really pleasant place to stay, especially if you enjoy peaceful surroundings. We loved walking around the area—it felt very tranquil and calming, with a beautiful forest surrounding the property.
There’s also a nice hiking trail nearby that leads to a waterfall. While the hike is lovely, it can be a bit challenging in hot weather, so be prepared if you're planning to go.

Platres Village in winter is a magical escape that exceeded my expectations. The charming streets adorned with snow create a picturesque scene straight out of a fairytale. The cozy cafes and traditional taverns offer warm respite from the cold, serving up delicious local cuisine and hot beverages that warm the soul. The surrounding Troodos Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for winter adventures, with opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and scenic hikes through snow-covered trails. Whether you're seeking relaxation or outdoor thrills, Platres Village in winter promises an unforgettable experience filled with warmth and wonder.

The hotel is rated 4 star and I would say it is getting the 4 star on facilities . It is very tired and in need of serious maintenance and upliftment . In its heyday of 1950 it probably was fantastic . Compared to other 4 star hotels it is falling behind standards. But it has a wonderful location

Platres is a lovely moiuntain village with a good mix of restaurants, bars and relaxtion points, Great for starting mountain walks or just kicking back in the village,
We would also highly recommend the chocolate workshop experience at Cyprus Chocolates. Educational and informative with a passionate host in Eugene.
You get to try all different kinds of chocolates and there's no obligation to buy. Though I'm defy anyone to leave without picking up a little treat. :)

Deep woods. Very cool temperature - chilly at night.
Deep woods. Very cool temperature - chilly at night. Nightingales in May-June. Small waterfalls, very nice walks through the woods. Lavender activities. Beautiful early XXth century architecture, typical only in Platres. Red bricks, turrets and pinnacles. Nice tavernas. Nice small kids playground in the village centre. Perfect for a quiet, cosy trip.
This place has a good, home energy. Fantastic, friendly staff, cosy lobby. Central location with walking distance to the most important sightseeings of Platres. Taxi, Bank, Supermarket, Police station, lots of restaurants and coffee shops are a walking distance from hotel...Big room with balcony, satisfying enough breakfast, great food in general. There is a hair dryer, AC , TV in the room.
Definitely to come back.
Location is perfect, right in the middle of Platres and walking distance to hiking trails, cafes and restaurants. I didn't want to stay in Troodos, and Platres is just a short drive away so it was great location. The hotel's exterior is gorgeous, would of been nice if the inside matched more of the outside. I loved the views from the balcony, very clean and maintained rooms, and bed comfort.
Very good location, close to the main road of the village, but at the same time above it so it was quiet and ambient in the evenings and mornings. The hotel is one of the first ones in Cyprus, so it felt like traveling in time - decor furniture - everything reminds you of that Cyprus hospitality. The director Mr Giorgos was great.
The hotel is the epitome of old school cool amd luxury. The style is characteristic of its time. The rooms are comfortable amd clean. The dining hall, bars, and reception are welcoming. The veranda, swimming pools, and other outdoor spaces benefit from the forest setting.
By far my favorite hotel in the area.
