A very authentic, trasitional, small, and calm village with tons of cats. Amzing staff, extremely nice Taverna and pool, overlooking the village and the sea, close to very nice beaches (jusk ask the owner), limassol and larnaca.
Rooms are located in some of the village's old houses that the owner renovated, all very short distance from the main taverna.
Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

My favourite places were the local beach and the nearby restaurant "Panayotis". Great and helpful people. Lots of cute cats! The easiest way around is by car (they drive on the left side of the road).

Loved it.
Loved it. The beach are is amazing, Clear water and great places to tan. We were looking for the Gay beach that was supposed to be in the area and finally found it but it turned out to be a big rock that goes down to the water with room for maybe 20 people. There were only 2 people there and it appears to be a nudist area. Very hard to find. Not worth the drive and search.

White Cliffs, crystal clear waters, Mediterranean vegetation. Perfect spot to swim and to relax. Sandy beach and shallow waterside are perfect for young kids. You should learn to ignore industry, which can be seen at the horizon.

Governors beach seems to be more populated by locals who visit the various secluded beaches, apartments to let and fish restaurants. It really is a gem with no pretentions. Personally the view of the power station did not detract from the experience for me, nor the mosquitos. Everyone we met was very warm and friendly.

loved the beach but total lack of things to do in evening apart from eating, at 9.30pm we had finished our meal and enjoying a drink when
the waitress said it was their bed time and could we turn the lights out and brought us a candle, sweet girl, but not what i want to hear on the second night of my holiday, which prompts me to add very limited
english speaking tv .
future evening meals were conducted elsewhere.

One of the best aparthotels I've ever stayed. I booked the cheapest room - studio - which turned out huge room with large panoramic windows with sea view. Location is great, 7 minutes walking to Governor's beach, and, if you rent a car, you can easily access both Limassol and Larnaca in less than 30 minutes. Spotlessly clean, well equipped caring and welcoming.
A fantastic place if you want to explore Cyprus. Governors beach i right in the middle of everything and easy to access by rental car. We managed to explore the whole south Cyprus in the time we were staying. I strongly recommend the place to stay.
It is a piece of architectural art! Modernism, which I love. The staff was professional but also very friendly. The restaurant on a beach which belongs to the hotel was absolutely great.
Great view both from hotel and reastaurant, tasty breakfasts and great sea food in a nearby restaurant. Nice sandy beach with beautiful white rocks next to the main beach.
