Very well run place, generous to a fault. We had asked for twin beds but they didn’t have any room with twin beds so they gave us a complimentary second room. Even though the suite I had booked was very big and could have easily accommodated a second bed.
On our second night, we went to the restaurant. We were told they hadn’t opened yet as they had been doing some renovations but they kindly offered to cook a meal especially for us. Not only was it greatly appreciated as after hiking all the way the Cruzinha, I could not have walked any further, but the meal was excellent.

Beautiful view of the sunset from tidal pools where you can swim protected from the waves. My host arranged a reservation at a private restaurant in someone's home, with live music. It was delicious and a great experience.
The town is a little dirty. I didn't stay long enough to really know the town, I'm sure it has its gems.

Beautiful village at "the corner" of Santo Antao. Really cool to walk at the old airport and down to the lighthouse. Amazing walks in all directions from Ponta do Sol. Beautiful town square with palm trees.
