This is probably the best hotel on the island of Santo Antao. The whole thing makes you feel like you're in a castle. The owner is very helpful, she takes care of every detail of your stay. Although my room wasn't perfect I got a better room for the same price - for which I am very grateful. From the hotel you have an ideal point for mountain hiking to any place. Breakfasts are very tasty, everyone will find something for themselves. Erick was very helpful and always smiling during meals. This is an amazing place and an amazing island. Obrigado!

Sympathetic, small-scale family hotel with simple but attractive rooms. No unnecessary fuss, but everything you need is there (and works). Lovely private balcony/terrace overlooking the lush green courtyard, an oasis of peace in the middle of the rustic village of Paúl do Mar. Some good little restaurants within walking distance. A delicious breakfast is served on the roof terrace, with beautiful views of the surroundings and the ocean.
Special mention deserves Marco and his mother who made our stay extra unforgettable through their friendliness and helpfulness. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

Beautiful location, great hospitality, amazing price, great to be able to have an additional cot at no extra fee. Food was good. The hosts went out of their way to make some calls to accommodations further along in our hiking trek

The guesthouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of village Eito and is a great starting point for many hikes in Santo Antao.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is lots of greenery and fresh fruit - the breakfast was great! The owner and the housekeeper are both very nice and friendly. (There are also two little dogs living there who are super cute!)
