Everything. The picture of the cabin is misleading since it actually is one of the finest places we stayed in CR. Loved the sunny balcony in the back from which you can enjoy watching a variety of birds and breathtaking sunsets. The hosts are delightful and went out of their way to show us monkeys visiting the property and bringing home baked delicacies. It's a little paradise off the beaten track.

This is the perfect cabin right in the middle of nature and tranquility! The cabin had all the amenities one could need and perfect for cooking a great meal and enjoying right on the front deck in nature. Walking distance to some nice off road paths that lead you to beautiful views of Tiliran. The host Jessica only made the stay more amazing and was so helpful and knowledgeable with all things to do around. She even gave us a ride and some bananas for breakfast from the trees right outside the cabin window 😁

Beautiful site. Well maintained. Clean. Friendly staff. Great place to stay and relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds and views. Yoga, sauna, dipping pool, meditation. It was just an amazing experience.

Tilarán is such a beautiful town located in the mountains by Lake Arenal. It's charm lies in the fact that it's less touristy than the surrounding towns, so you are able to escape during your escape. It's a perfect location for lake activities/excursions and there are great places to stop for coffee or a meal.
We stayed at Playa Tila and have nothing but great things to say about it! Check out the town and Playa Tila—you will be happy you did!

Tilaran is a super nice and authentic local's town in the mountains directly by beautiful lake Arenal, less touristy than La Fortuna and Arenal. In "Tila" you'll find everything you need for your convenience: Local shops, supermarkets, a nice gym, etc.
It's a great base for all kinds of excursions, i.e. around the lake (paddleboard, kayak, catamaran, jet ski, windsurfing, kite surfing...), bicycle tours in the mountains, yoga retreats, etc.

This was our 4th visit to this great quirky little hotel. It is a convenient stop for us on our way to places like Monteverde, has a swimming pool, great food and beer, pretty views and they've even added a nice hiking trail. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean.
