Really friendly and helpful staff who booked tours for us. The tours were great, would highly recommend the morning canoe trip. We had to cut our stay short which was very unfortunate as we would have loved to have stayed for longer. AC was great and very much needed. We also used the laundry service which was fast and fairly priced. Great gallo pinto at breakfast too.

The breakfasts were excellent, the staff very friendly, and location very near to supermarket and Ke Tico restaurant was perfect. The air-conditioning in hot and humid Tortuguera was very welcome.

The pretty Pachira Lodge is located 5 minutes’ boat trip from the entrance to the lush Tortuguero National Park.

The surroundings and the rooms were so comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished. The food was inexpensive, not really fancy but good food with plenty of choice. Pool / bar area was gorgeous. Loved the wildlife around too.
