Everything was amazing ! :) thanks for your hospitality, we felt like family. The white water rafting was really fun and safe. The night walk was stunning with a great guide. The activites are relatively cheap and great. We highly recommend the lodge. We also saw a caoti and tucans at the lodge!

It's a great location if you're looking for a quieter place, away from the busier towns. It's close to both Uvita and Manuel Antonio, so it's a good place to move around if you have a car. It also has a great beach, excellent restaurant, and good convenience store within walking distance. The rooms are good and there's a very nice pool. The owner and staff are really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast (not included in price) is good.

My kids loved this beachfront glamping experience. Breakfast was great. Their favorite part was chasing crabs on the beach and collecting sand dollars. The pool was also a big hit with my kids.

Very comfortable and big bed, great shower, delicious breakfast, very clean and exceptionally welcoming hosts. They have a lot of info on activities in the area and the local flora and fauna. But most of all they make you feel at home and safe. I would definitely come again to spend some relaxing days at Raya in Matapalo!
The location is just perfect, everything in walking distance 7‘ to the beach, 5‘ to famous and awesome Matapalo Supper Club Restaurant, another restaurant and the supermarket. 20‘ to the bus stop. And on the other side of the road: Angelo who takes you on trips with his lovely horses.

The hosts were welcoming warm, and helpful.
The path to the house is on a hillside slope with dense jungle throughout.
Vanilla vines and flowers. Only the sounds of birds.
The front porch has a hammock and sofa where I sketched and Jean napped.
The interior space is simple and nicely functional. The views from the large bedroom windows put us up and into the beautiful jungle canopy.
A highlight was the warm swim at the nearby waterfall.
We were always going up or down. Be careful of your footing.
