Our stay was excellent; This is probably my fourth visit. We went to have a relaxing experience and rest, and we achieved it. The rooms, all the facilities, the attention of the staff, daily activities, and meals are all great. Thank you.

This property is RIGHT in nature. The room is cemented so not too many bugs inside but outside yes. The host was SO sweet and brought me bananas and limes from the property. She is really great and had amazing communication. Thank you!

It was easy to locate and get an access to the home, a very welcoming environment from the moment we opened the garage door. Yes, you will be able to park your car in a covered and locked driveway. We felt very comfortable and safe. The hosts had everything we needed to recover from a prolonged travel. Coffee, tea, washing powder, welcoming gift. Washer and dryer are new and well-functioning. The apartment home is clean, decorated with the guests feeling well relaxed and having a good sleep. Clean! The kitchen has everything that you might need. We had a difficulty in the beginning figuring out how to start the hot water, and after we called the owner to ask him about it, he was there to fix it in 5 minutes. Very friendly and efficient. All was well after that. We enjoyed our stay at San Ramon because of a very pleasant lodging arrangement.
Providing quiet street views, Cabañas San Rafael in Palmares provides accommodations and a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The house is quite new and modern. It has lovely views into the valley. Located in a not touristic spot, so you can experience the real Costa Rica. The owner is very friendly.

This is a busy typical CR centre with little to offer in the way of browsing or touristy type things. Really good handmade souvenirs in store opposite city park. The museum is open Tues to Sat. We missed it, so I can't comment on that. The weather was cold, foggy and at times windy (this was mid Jan). That's all I can think of!

It's weird that this zone is not as popular as other famous touristic zones like Monteverde and Dota. The beautiful views of the pacific gulf, and the green of its mountains and trees is as good as those places.

Zip lining and hanging bridges / canopy tour at San Luis is worthwhile doing. We got to feed the hummingbirds which was an amazing experience. The guides are very knowledgeable and safety is taken very seriously. Before you embark on zip lining each team is fully briefed and the views are amazing!
Getting around is easy - the roads and signage are modern. We didn't hire a car on this occasion but found it very easy to get taxis when we needed them. They even have Uber here!
The food generally in Costa Rica is very good- and if you want to eat local then rice and beans are on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner! There are many different dining options for all budgets along with vegetarian, vegan etc.

Event though the room is small, the bed was comfortable , the service was exceptional. We stayed one night on our way to La Fortuna so it served it's purpose. I would definitely stay again at Hotel Amaranto. You feel the vibe of staying at a family or friend's house.
Breakfast was cooked at the moment.
The room I stayed had no windows which I don't mind because I prefer not to wake up to bright light coming from the outside.
Parking is gated and they are very close to downtown and convenient stores.
We really enjoyed the facilities. The cabin is located inside a very well kept coffee farm where you can have a very real Costa Rican experience.
The sunrise and sunset views are great. It is very quiet and peacefull at night. You can see lots of tropical fruit trees and be waken up every morning by the birds chirping.
The complimentary typical breakfast is great and the staff was extremely nice and friendly.
We loved the stay here. Food tasty. Beautiful swimming pool with amazing view on mountains and ocean. People very very friendly. Our room neighbours returned here and we are ready to return as well. In our 15days trip in Costa Rica, this is the best hotel we stayed so far, highly recommended.
The location was nice in the heart of San Ramon close to all the stores and restaurants, yet on a quiet street. The apartment is nice and spacious and everything we needed was there. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable.
The location was amazing, near Palmarés and San Ramon, not far away from San Jose either. The service was excellent, Liz made sure that we were comfortable and she was very attentive to anything we needed.
I highly recommend you stay here!
