Property is very nice and we liked borrowing the free kayaks and bikes. Our room was one of the cheaper small ones with no balcony but the nice common area near the water helped make up for that and was a nice place to spend time. Without doubt the balcony rooms would be fantastic.

An unambiguous highlight of our 6week trip to Costa Rica. This special place is deep in the Osa rainforrest and borders the Corcovado national park. Filip is incredibly knowledgable about nature in general and flora and fauna of Costa Rica in particular. He and his wife were great hosts and we much enjoyed our common breakfast and dinner and getting to know each other. They have build a range of superb hiking trails on their 100acre property to wander off into the untouched nature. The little cabins are pretty basic but well designed and this was just what we were looking for. Make sure you have a decent awd/4x4 to geth there. We hope to visit again when returning to Costa Rica

Wonderful balcony room overlooking the expansive grounds and the beach and water. Scarlet Macaws flew overhead and squirrel monkeys swung through the trees. An iguana kept us company in the dining area. Great breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. A lovely couple from the U.S., who have been longtime residents of Costa Rica, own this property. They were warm and welcoming and a great source of local information. We loved the hot tub and the swimming pool too. The hotel has easy access to Puerto Jimenez and its tiny airport. We have visited this hotel before and will be returning.

Small town with lots around. Amazing warm bay that we kayaked out into everyday (becuse Cabinas Jimenez provided free use of them) It is calm, swimable and full of fish and marine mammals.
We loved the ceviche at several places-Delphines is the favorite. fun vibe there on the water
Get your produce at the fresh market at the entrance to town-great selection.

The nature and exploration available from PJ as a takeoff point was amazing. Books tours early, or you may not secure a space, take himing boots and shorts and waterproof raingear just in case, and be prepared to rough it a little.

Anne, at reception, was friendly and welcoming and always addressed me by name, as if she'd known me forever! That impressed me!
I loved the tropical decor, the ambiance and laid back vibe here. Loved meeting other guests in the common areas, from all over the world. Loved having the outdoor kitchen, and BBQ to cook in.

We did a daytrip to Corcovado Nationalpark. The Tour was organized by Osa Wild (a local organisation).
The Guide was very good and we saw lots of exotic animals during the Day. Corcovado and Osa Peninsula are very wild and untamed in relation to some more touristic places in Costa Rica. Puerto Jiménez isn‘t that special, but it‘s a good place to start Tours to Corcovado.

A quiet, unspoilt small harbour town.
A quiet, unspoilt small harbour town. Los Delphines was a great place to eat, chill and watch the wildlife. Watch out for caimans! Jaguar is a lovely little gift shop selling delicious drinks and ice creams. Night kayaking to see the bioluminescence was fantastic.

Beautiful place, near the center of Puerto Jimenez and in front of the gulfo Dulce.
The owner and the staff helped us to arrange a couple of excursions. The boat trip is absolutely recommended, we never saw so many dolphins and so near by.
We would also recommend the cabins with see view as the beach is near and the connection with nature is assured.
We really liked the cards breakfast arrangement with two local establishments so that one could choose the place and time, including early breakfast at the bakery! The staff were incredibly kind and really supported us with many suggestions during our stay and helped with small things, such as car re-parking where we left it for a day at the hotel!
All in all, a highly recommended hotel. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right and the hotel staff is extremely friendly and interested in ensuring that their guests are satisfied. Thank you for the good time
