The pools were excellent, not crowded when we were there and the water was a great temperature. The hot pools were great and we enjoyed spending time in them all. Breakfast was AWESOME - great selection of foods and the dining room area was so clean. I really liked how the staff kept everything so very clean, wiping everything down and mopping up water from the rain on the sidewalks, paths and restaurant floor. I was very impressed!

Great breakfast, the pools and hot springs were perfect, the views from the room were incredible. The staff was very helpful in booking excursions. We also saw a baby sloth right near the hot springs!

Location was great for walking to town, 2nd floor view and 3rd floor deck had nice view of Arenal volcano, pass to use spa at sister hotel was a big bonus! Recommendations for things to do was good - especially enjoyed the Don Juan coffee and chocolate tour because not only was the tour good, but they had a mama and recently born baby sloth nesting low in a tree on their small plantation. We were able to see a sloth within 10 feet of us! Closest sighting of our trip:)

Loved the hot springs and swim up bar. The massages were amazing. The food was perfect. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and breakfast twice and everything was delicious!

The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view is absolutely incredible. The grounds are beautiful and having hot springs on the property was so convenient after a long day of hiking! The location is about a 15-minute drive between the town of La Fortuna and a 15-minute drive to the Arenal hiking trail, so it was really an ideal and convenient location. The breakfast was really good with a variety of options and a pretty view from the dining room as well. The concierge gave us thorough instructions on how to properly use our in-room hot tub, so we didn't have the humidity issues I saw in other reviews, so just make sure you follow instructions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed smaller hotel, felt more welcoming and staff was very nice. We liked the garden and it had amazing view to the volcano. The breakfast was good.
