The hotel surpassed our expectations, it’s a modern eco resort with beautiful restaurants overlooking an incredible the view. The hikes around the property were our favourites in our month in Costa Rica. The night hike at the hotel was great and my 7 year old loved it.

We really enjoyed staying at Casitas de Montaña Cabuya. Couldn’t have asked for more friendly, fun and helpful hosts. We felt right at home from the beginning and had a great time. If you’re looking for a rather remote, tranquil place in the middle of nature close to Monteverde, this is where you should go (ideally with your own 4x4 car). We even saw toucans and monkeys on the property. Great, family-run place with a lovely atmosphere. Muchas gracias.
