We had a very spacious, very clean, beautifully furnished 3 bedroom apartment all to ourselves. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Always asked if we need something. The bus stop 50 meters from the house.
One day the owner drove us to Zarcero and Naranja, and when we were living she was going into San Jose and gave us a ride to the bus stop. Also found us a park ranger who drove us to the Bosque del Niños and the Choros waterfalls and was very knowledgeable. Grecia is very close to Poas Volcano and has many beautiful places to visit, and trails to do, is a good base, not as touristy and expensive like La Fortuna or Monteverde. We highly recommend Victoria’s house, you won’t be disappointed.

Great room, pool and restaurant made this a great place to relax at the end of our vacation. Only 20 mins drive to the airport. The hotel has 3 main buildings set in beautiful gardens.

We booked a night at Serenity by nature a couple of hours before getting there due to no response from the place we had booked. They responded straight away and were keen to help us plan our stay there. On arrival, we felt very welcomed by the staff and Armando has been so friendly to us. The breakfast with eggs and marmalade from the property was delicious. We really enjoyed the beautiful, calm surroundings to finish off our trip to Costa Rica and head to the nearby airport. Many thanks Armando and the staff of Serenity by nature for the pleasant time with you.
Grecia is a very good base to visit the area. Very clean, and reasonable priced. We took the local bus everywhere and it was very doable. Also you can find a lots of tours, or a local can drive you at a very reasonable price.

The people are very cordial and helpful.
The people are very cordial and helpful. The town has most of the amenities that one would look for in a foreign country. We enjoyed eating at Cafe Delicias #1. We were able to navigate in a car after we discovered the one way streets and the parking rules. We are not young people, I am 82 and my wife is 78. We are looking forward to spending at least 6 months next year living in the area.

Grecia was not as expected from literature I read because of it's size and amount of traffic. The main down town area was very busy with bad sidewalks which made walking the town difficult. Lovely cathedral and park and great restaurants. Local people were friendly and helpful. We ate at Los Barriles twice because the food was so delicious and very reasonably priced. La Terraza Bed & Breakfast was the nicest hotel we stayed at in the Grecia area.

Grecia is a small town in an agricultural area. It is not really a tourist destination, but is a good example of a typical small town in Costa Rica. The church is unusual because it is made entirely of metal. The other places to visit in the town are the main square and the market. There are other places to visit in the surrounding area, such as coffee plantations, sugar cane plantations and the Poas Volcano.

I like the fact that they cared about their clients, attention to details, perfect communication.
the hotel is managed by an American with a small team is locals, which would probably explain the service. we felt welcomed and safe!
they did our laundry and we were able to pay with a credit card. it costed us 15$
breakfast was good too! it takes them a bit of time to prepare but everything is fresh. if you’re in a rush plan your time wisely.
Very nice facilities, wonderful property with wide range of fruit trees, hosts Norman and luis, and parents best hosts ever, always there if yu need anything. I will be returning that's for sure.

B and B Grecia is a lovely peaceful spot, with beautiful views over surrounding farmland and a nice garden. The owners are very kind people. It was lovely to watch the birds, including a toucan at breakfast.
There is a small supermarket in walking distance, and around 35-40s walk into Grecia centro
Great hostel with a great, cozy restaurant and patio in the middle of Grecia! Secured parking close by! Friendly staff. Very standard rooms but absolutely perfect for this price range! And very clean!
