The hosts were very helpful and really caring when my girlfriend fell sick. The garden is beautiful (you can see countless fireflies lighting up in the dark) and has a trail up the hill. On a cloudless night, you can stargaze very well. There is a small supermarket nearby.

Iyok Ami was a lovely spot to be embraced by the highlands. The well marked and cared for trail system revealed some of the most subtle magic and nourishment from the earth I found while in Costa Rica. I received community, conversation, and connection here. The area of Copey is very beautiful with all its mountains , river, and forests. It is usually cold, especially at nighttime. Ii is a great place to go to get away from it all and just relax in nature!

It is really nice, we went to Savegre for dinner since we had a reservation made on one restaurant there, but I am sure that if you plan the trip to fully stay on Copey you would find a lot to see, walk and do there. If you decide to go and visit Savegre take into consideration that it is a 40min drive

The hotel is quite rustic but cozy ! The room met our basic needs. The staff was friendly and informed us about their great walking trail of 3km---don't miss this experience! The food was DELICIOUS! Covid procedures are in place and followed. You are surrounded by beautiful and quiet nature! A great place to get away from it all !
