The staff and location were great for visiting Monteverde and then heading to La Fortuna later. The grounds are well kept and beautiful with great views. We’d say this was more rustic of an accommodation which isn’t negative but do expect being in a cabin like setting.

Fabulous jungle setting for this welcoming hotel overlooking gorgeous Lake Arenal, including large pool, 4 pickleball courts with toucans watching over the play, nature trails, gym, and good restaurant. Brekky was excellent, rooms are dated but comfortable and clean. Great frog-spotting and birdwatching on site!

Easy to find, very comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Lovely breakfast, and enjoyed the backyard, homey feel of the area in front of the cabins.

It is a very lovely place and I would stay there again; Canas itself isn't a big town but the location of the hotel could be a good jump start to visit Rio Celeste and the beautiful surrounding areas in the mountains. Beaches are at least an hour and a half away but the roads are very good. Next to the hotel there is a great river rafting company!
