If you’re unfamiliar with traveling here, keep the following in mind: 1. it is cash pay when you arrive, your payment on Booking isn’t paying the hotel just reserving it, so you will need the full amount in Colombian Pesos (no cards accepted) 2. if you’re a foreigner, they will need a copy of your passport and entry stamp into the country. We were unaware of these things and they provided a mild inconvenience when checking in, however, the owner went above and beyond the help find a solution for both these things. The service we received was truly extraordinary! The town is a local treasure and should absolutely be on everyone’s bucket list!
