We had a lot of fun visiting this town, the weather was great, not too hot. We loved the places we visited like the parks with the statues of the singers of Vallenato. Going to towns nearby like La Junta, and Patillal is a must. Food also was very good. We found a lot of nice restaurants to eat international food as local food at a good price.

It's a bit of a gritty city. Not a tourist destination. The city could use some TLC and friendly tourist information. The big deal is the annual Vallenato Legend Festival.

Valledupar is a great hotel located close to everything on...
Valledupar is a great hotel located close to everything on this end of town. Not the side with airport and hotel zone. It is a couple of blocks from the beach and next to the river that has an island in it. Just a walk over the bridge will take you into the romantic zone where clubs and other activities are at. Only negative was the included breakfast. You can do much better with the short walk to the beach area where there are many spots to choose from.

Easy city to get around in.
Easy city to get around in. Most everything we needed was close to the hotel. Found a couple of good restaurants, but do not remember the names. One was Italian, the other was a steak restaurant. Taxis are inexpensive and can get you wherever you need to go.

Excelent accomodations. Small public areas but excelent service and the shoppin center is right across the parking lot. Staff was very accomodating and even got my celphone charger back when I left it in my room at the check out hour. I really enjoyed my stay and will for sure recomend it to anyone going to Valledupar for business or pleasure.
The room had a good size, the shower was spacious, there was an ironing table and an iron. There was good pressure of water in the shower. The hotel is modern, trendy and the breakfast had a reasonable selection although mostly local choices, nothing international.
The staff was extemly nice and helped with everything I needed. Would defently reccomend this place if you need to spend the night in valledupar during the travell
