The host was very communicative, and also spoke English very well. The property was way a little ways up the hill on a dirt road, but that was ok. You first are wondering if you’re going the right direction at first when you’re getting there, but you are. There are also three friendly dogs to greet you too.
Felipe is a very relaxt host and a good climbing instructor. There was a nice atmosphere in the hostel.

The owner. So kind and helpful. Made the stay really special. Really warm beds
Everything everyone else has written about the hospitality is accurate.
We purely came to Suesca to climb (amazing climbing) and this was by far the best accommodation we found.
The owner felipe is a very friendly guy who helped us a lot, gave us informations about suesca and the climbing spots and also about how to reach the el cocuy national park. we would recommend the hostel to any traveller's who want to get to suesca.
Our room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely hammock to relax in. The hotel itself is in a stunning old building, and the staff were really friendly. They even opened the bar for us when nobody else was around 🙂
