What a great place! We really enjoyed our stay. It’s located about 25 minutes from San Rafael by mototaxi in a beautiful area, where you can enjoy hiking, bathing in rivers or just sitting on the terrace looking at the beautiful landscape. Once in the morning, we saw some tití monkeys in the trees. We loved the delicious breakfast and the beautifully constructed house made of bamboo!
If you want to hike the area with a local guide or would like to enjoy a massage, the team arranges it for you. We would suggest it to anyone who‘s looking for a peaceful place to stay!

Just a 5 mins walk from the best place to swim in at San Rafael and being at the bank of the river you could hear the soothing sound of the flowing river. The place is close to most the charcos and other points of interest and are reachable by walk. We had a great time there. Doña Elba, the host cooked very delicious vegetarian food on our request. We are waiting to plan another trip there.

I've been in many different countries and I haven't seen many river that are so beautiful as this one. The town is very safe and alive, food and people everywhere. The river has a lot of different spots so you can swim in private or with a lot of other people. If you want private go to La Honda or if you want to experience local culture go swim in Las Tangas
