Great location. Excellent friendly staff. New modern clean, beautiful decor. Nice touch with large soap bottles in Shower.
My partner lives in Dosquebradas but has family in Salamina.
My partner lives in Dosquebradas but has family in Salamina. Almost every time I come to see him in Dosquebradas, we get a car and drive the 3 hours to Salamina. I just love the drive through the countryside. Part of the drive is modern tollroads, but then the fun begins. And being a flatlander from Chicago, I can barely keep my eyes on the road looking at all the beutiful mountains and the various colors of green that exist everywhere, Once instead of returning directly to Dosqubradas we continued the adventure drive to Santa Fe de Antioquia. Some stunning vistas along the way. Not for the Four Seasons chauffeured crowd.

Salamina is a cute, little town. Nice central plaza.
Salamina is a cute, little town. Nice central plaza. Loved the specialty foods here. Did stop at a woodworking shop, which was quite interesting...the owner spent some time with me showing what they make and some of the heritage pieces they do...all hand made. Not a whole lot to do, but great for wandering!
