It is beautifully made place with colors and wood. Breakfast was good and the family very hospitable and helpful. Even though the rooms are a bit hear-through as they are close to the kitchen, it is quiet and peaceful up there with a great view from the top. If you need a break from the loud Mocoa city, this is a good place. Thank you for the lovely stay!
Mocoa is a nice Putomayo town. Highlight is the Plaza De Mercado right next to the bus terminal where you can buy all fresh foods and cooked lunch and artisan goods. You can walk to and around around the town easy and safely and there's ATM machines in a few banks. Try a fresh mandarin or sugarcane juice in the street...heavenly !

Mocoa has an airport but there are more frequent flights to Villagarzon, not far away. Mocoa is located at the piedmont of the Andes where there is plenty of forest and waterfalls. The visit to Fin del Mundo waterfall is a full day excursion. The local community association charges $20,000 to enter; they maintain the paths and provide guides and safety equipment for viewing the waterfall.
