Perfect stay in lovely Leticia! We returned here after our Amazonas trip and we really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. The kids loved the swimming pool and we enjoyed the hammocks and relax chairs around the pool. As a small hotel, Utuane offered a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere and that was just what we needed. The city center of Leticia is easily and affordably accessible by tuk-tuk, and the reception staff is more than happy to assist with calling one, ordering a pizza, or anything else you might need. Overall very laidback place and would absolutely recommend.

Breakfast was good with a variety & eggs made to order. The whole staff was very courteous & friendly. Especially the Manager " Ismael Bernier" , who was attentive to the needs & spoke english. The restaurant was nice with AC & good food ( as their isnt many restaurants in the town ) .

It had a safe environment, the locals were helpful and we went on some really good tours. A night walk in the rain forest with an indigenous guide by green tours was superb and a three hour piranha fishing trip by your destiny agency was terrific. The owner of the agency gave us exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble for him. We ate at the Decameron hotel, Waira Suites hotel and tierras amazonas bar all eere good value for money offering tasty food. A treat not to be missed is a ride in a Tuk Tuk, the air passing through it really cools you down

in Leticia the roads has a lot of pot holes.

Just a tip for any working travellers - both phone internet and most internet in most hotels does not work very well! Be warned, Leticia is very isolated and this does indeed support this. Best to plan to enjoy the town instead!

Leticia is a great spot to visit the Amazon forest and areas around the river. There are so many beautiful places around it and plenty of choice for all types of visitors. We didn’t realise it was going to be that hot when we went (August) and we’re not really used that humidity, so that ‘slowed’ us down a bit as we weren’t able to do as much as we originally thought we would. But overall it was a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone! (Just have a lot of mosquito repellent with you at all times)

Awesome! LETICIA is at the heart of the amazons! You can find several tours or reserves to stay in. The biodiversity and the indigenous ethnic diversity is interesting as well as eco educational. A lot to learn from them!!!!

Caro and Diana are fantastic hosts - they are so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help me with things e.g. organising a tour, getting a TukTuk to go to Tabatinga… and more! They included me and made me feel welcome.
The location of the hotel is fantastic - very near to all the main tourist attractions of Leticia, banks, shops etc.
The room itself was lovely, really clean and nicely decorated.
After a jungle trip a stay at Waira Suites is very recommendable. The hotel is modern, it offers good quiet rooms (with AC) and is very well located in down town Leticia. It is clean and offers 2 nice small swimming pools! Staff is friendly and breakfast is good.
Ideally located in Leticia, the hotel is very nicely decorated and has a great garden where you can relax, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated, very nice staff
