We had a wonderful stay at Awatawaa! The Caribbean water is perfect for swimming. The resort and beach are clean and secluded. If you're looking for partying and night clubs, this is not your scene. If you love nature, birds, relaxation, swimming in a calm seas, extremely friendly helpful staff, this is the place. We will be back again!
Rooms: This is an eco-lodge. Not air conditioned. Temps are moderate as it is ocean-front. The bungalows are comfortable airy and with mosquito netting around each bed and private bathrooms with each room.

Playa Kai is a remote gem of a place. It is private, calm and a wonderful place to just enjoy the sounds and sight of nature. The staff were charming and accommodating. They were quick to resolve any concern like the shower pressure.
The bathroom was great in a glamping setting.
If you want to nap in a hammock or read overlooking the ocean this is the place. Loved it.

The property is beautiful and just like the pictures show. It is just across the street from the beach which is very quiet which is nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The view from the beach is breath taking! The rooms clean and beds are comfortable! Very simple rooms but the real star of the show is the outdoor area. The staff is incredible friendly, I felt at home. The food selection is limited but delicious.
