The surroundings are really beautiful. And the compound with 3 super nice wooden (large) cabins is given much attention. Everything is thought through. There is much privacy. The owners are super kind and speak English. So for us speaking a bit Spanish it was easy communicating. The cabin was super clean and had everything you need, including a little kitchen. I can only speak in superlatives. And Iza is a really nice town to visit too.
The hotel is located near the main square. It needs a lot of repairs. The bathroom leaks and stinks! Even though the description says that there is breakfast available, the reality is that there isn’t. The place is outdated, the blankets were stained and old, the towels were so rough they seemed sand paper! The location was great but the hotel needs major updates!
Our hosts were friendly, accessible, and very attentive to us.
The location was ideal for our plans to discover some towns around Iza. It was centric. The panoramic view of the house is delightful and the surrounding forest, too. We enjoyed being in a quiet place for two days. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!
Tonsuca is a beautiful corner house about 1 minute walk from Iza central park. The caretaker Sonya is awesome and super sweet, the experience was definitely better because she was so accommodating and ready to help us.
Tou can tell the owners take pride in having things looking nice and clean, the house was super tidy.
