Hosts made me feel like I was part of their family and the place was out of a fairytale.
We had great food, great company and the private beach was packed with wildlife you would dream of seeing in an aquarium.
Wether you’re seeking for adventure, or looking for a place to chill with crashing waves as a soundtrack, this is it.
Thanks Pedro and Rebeca for an amazing time!

The staff was more than incredible! They were friendly, welcoming and flexible to help with anything. The hotel only accommodates 12 people, so after the day pass visitors leave, you almost have the island for yourself, with great service! Highly recommend it!

Orika del Mar is a quaint resort on the quiet side of Isla Grande in the Rosario Islands. The location is great and the vibe is relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed the breakfast and our room was spacious. The island is very low key and rustic, and this resort had similar facilities to those of the neighboring places (e.g. El Hamaquero).
Hotel Coral Sand Islas Del Rosario features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Isla Grande. The property provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests.

Clean and comfortable, very cute and recent cabins, a short walk to either playa libre or the more quiet community wharf and tiny beach. We ate there and had cocktails and it was all very good! Juan Pablo was very nice and answered all our questions and requests patiently and professionally.

This is a perfect place to stay! The staff was marvelous! The hotels is completely integrated to the nature. The food was very good.
Sunsets are amazing. The sea is BLUE blue, and the reef is a swim away to explore. Very small island, to explore through day and night nature activities. Bring nug spray and bug bite gel. You will need it but you are on a tropical island so to be expected. Would have spent one less day there and one more in the Old Town area of Cartagena

The trip is too long, you go with a fast boat that is not comfortable at all. High speed, jumping the waves, it gave me a headache once we arraigned to Cartagena from isla grande.
I think the island is not worth it, I recommend instead a full day excursion to baru from Cartagena.

Loved the quiet and elegant boutique hotel vibe.
Loved the quiet and elegant boutique hotel vibe. The hotel was full of really lovely interesting guests and the staff were really welcoming and attentive.
We loved our stay there as quiet interlude to the fast pace of Cartagena.
If you're looking for party vibe then Coralina is not for you (head to Bora Bora). If you're looking for beautiful island shabby-chic luxury then Coralina is perfect.

Incredible place to rest, away from the tiresome sellspeople that crowd Playa Blanca and Barú offering from massages to wrist bands. Here you can actually REST, and do whatever you want to do, snorkeling, kayaking reading. Even work, if you must, the wifi connection was great at the hostel we stayed.
You can easily walk the island or do a round trip vía Kayak (3-4 hours aprox). The Mangle are really beautiful and that's a nice tour to have. The little village of Orika (1500 ppl) is really nice and peple are very kind with tourists. There were 2-3 restaurants that I can remember, but none looked tempting so we stayed with the Hostel restaurant for health sake. No need to improvise. :)
It's a small island perfect for introspection and sea sports as mentioned before. I'd say it's a mandatory visit if you go to Cartagena (hey, you can even sacrifice Playa Blanca without loosing too much, if you must prune a few days of your stay), but definitely try to visit the island. We travelled with 3 kids aged 16, 13 and 12. and 3 nights at the hostel hit the spot for them. More would have been a little too much for them.

This is the furthest island and honestly there’s nothing to do here. Specifically at this hotel, there was only two lawn chairs where the sun actually reached and the rest were always in the shade. And the two that were in sun were always occupied. The one time we did get to sit in them, the dock it’s on was not sturdy or secure. In fact the board under the chair broke as my friend was laying in it!! And the chair leg went towards the water.
The hotel itself had no beach so you had to walk 20 minutes to get there and it was not easily accessible by any means. All the other beaches were private and you had to pay for.
They offered theee excursions - I can’t speak to one. But the other two were scams.

It felt really remote but with everything you needed (be prepared, no A/C.
The Caipirinhas are FANTASTIC how they make them.
Kayaks pull up with cocktails from outside vendors. Adds a fun element.
Most nights they offered something to do after the day trippers left.

From the outset the hotel organised everything. We wanted to arrive by car/boat ! An experience but the driver was incredible.
The hotel is everything I wanted from an island break. The little bungalow on the water was so special. The food was excellent. Eric an organised a snorkelling trip plus an evening bioluminescence trip. So memorable. Nothing was too much trouble.
2nd worse place I’ve ever stayed at in my life, I left after I night. No redeeming features, except perhaps that a manager came to ask why I checked out early. The worse place I’ve ever stayed was in a terrible hotel in Sierra Leone during a violent election campaign where lives were in danger, at least I didn’t feel unsafe on Isla Grande
The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly, attentive and helpful. We loved the little tour they took us on to show us the local life on the islands.
The rooms are very modern with a nice patio where they serve you the breakfast.
Hotel guests get their own sun bed to relax on during the day.
Food was very delicious!
The hotel is so lovely. The beach is beautiful and great to spend a couple of days. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are having a lovely stay and the food is very yummy and feels like home. I really recommend it!
