Buenaventura feels like a very poor and dirty city with nothing touristy to do. It’s a way to get to several beach destinations in the area, so if you have to stay the night stay close to the harbour, otherwise just pass through.
I got an upgrade to a junior suite. The room had a great view on the harbour, was large super clean and comfortable. Amenities are appropriate and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the boats and the bus terminal is only a ten minute walk away. Overall liked my stay there
Good price for one night stay, safe area, decent places to eat nearby (as much as decent Buenaventura gets), we got a room not facing the street in upper floor so it was pretty quiet with a nice city view from shared balcony. AC is working (only on and off without any ability to regulate temp)
excellent location right in the center of Buenaventura. just a few steps to the main center. Friendly staff. Room was changed easily after at first, it was not as booked.
