We stayed for 5 nights but 3 nights would have been enough.
We stayed for 5 nights but 3 nights would have been enough. Would have been better to stay 1 or 2 nights in Villa de Leyva instead of a long day trip, but we had paid in full for Bogota accommodation.

Bogota is a wonderful city full of culture and energy.
Bogota is a wonderful city full of culture and energy. There are world class restaurants such as Leo and El Chato to name just a few. The salt cathedral is a must visit! The people were wonderful. FYI brush up on your Spanish-at least make an effort. Uber is cheap and plentiful. It’s not technically legislated yet so sit in the front seat if you take one

Bogotá is a vibrant city with a plethora of places of interest.
The local people are friendly and warm. Check out the Salt Cathedral it’s a world class attraction . There’s any cuisine you want in the city. My first time visiting Colombia and I am so glad I am here. Going to Medellin tomorrow via a domestic flight of which there are many.

I love the climate, the friendly people and the food.
I love the climate, the friendly people and the food. The neighborhood restaurants are really nice and great value, especially Azul in Chapinero. Traffic can be a problem due to exhaust, noise and jams - it'll be great when the metro is built out - but that's not a showstopper.

The colonial interior looks like a museum. 2-floor apartments within an impressive condominium with several decorated hallways, living rooms ad patio richly decorated in old times. Very pleasant and helpful employees. In the middle of Bogotá's historic centre: the Botero Museum and central Bolivar Square are within 100 metres. At night it is relatively calm. The breakfast experience at the bakery next door brings you in contact with the normal Colombian able to choose from 4 meal.s
My go-to hotel when in Bogota. Easy access to and from the airport, in a safe area with a shopping mall, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Rooms are adequate, becoming a bit aged meanwhile. As everywhere, the hotel's prices have risen substantially over the last few years.
The room was comfortable. Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The drivers the hotel arranged were excellent.
Bogota and Colombia is wonderful. This hotel is a disappointment.
