We had this booking cancelled as our flight was delayed. We called ahead and they said it was OK. Turned up and no room at midnight. We then got offered rooms at cosy home hotel their sister hotel where we were charged double the amount where we had no choice as it was so late. We got ripped off. We then decided all we needed was sleep and stayed at the alternative hotel which was an equal disaster....nothing like photos.

The hotel and our room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Cosy and elegant, with friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet with a decent variety of both chinese and western foods, along with staples like fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We had it everyday for 6 days and still weren’t sick of it! The hotel was in a good location within 10-15min walking distance of the train station, a small local shopping street and two large shopping malls. Most of the restaurants and shops there were patronized by locals (shopkeepers didn’t speak much English, a translation app was a must!), so they were relatively cheap and VERY tasty. No overpriced tourist traps in this area!
