The hotel was very clean, stylish, and is complete with everything we need. We had a very comfortable stay in there and it really felt like home. I would like to also like to commend the staff. Even though language was a little tough (we can only speak English), it never stopped them to find way to communicate (translator) and they were still very helpful. Suzhou is the "Venice" of China.
Suzhou is the "Venice" of China. Like many places in China it has much history and beauty. Had we the time, a walk along one of the main canals would have been great. Suffice to say we took a "gondola" ride and yes, the "gondolier" sang (a little). Tiger Hill and the Humble Administrator's Garden is worth the visit.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite. The hotel was converted from a private garden so the pathway was made by rocks. It was not smooth to carry the luggage and no lift due to the purpose of keeping the style. However the concierge carried all the luggage to our room upon check-in and check-out. We visited the place with my parents and baby so we had 4 big suitcases. I really appreciated their hospitality when I stayed.
I have seen couple of Indians staying at this hotel, considering the same if they include Indian style items in breakfast then that will be good. Also, location is little tricky to get even using the local cab app so the same needs to be improved.
Nice and spacious hotel. Super clean. Free laundry. Staff is super friendly and correct. Breakfast is really good, lots of healthy choices.
