It was my husband's birthday. I contacted in advance to have a birthday cake organised and they helped with a home made tiramisu! The accommodation was well thought out and had a comfortable common area to relax. The host was very nice and accommodating, rate 10/10

No words can describe how friendly, helpful, joyful and kind the hosts are. The homestay is located at an amazing place. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is a real feast and the hospitality is like nowhere else. Please pay them a visit and have the same great experience like we did.

Everything!!! Lynn and her hubby were amazing hosts. They picked us up as we were lost. The location was fantastic - very near the wall. We stayed there 2 nights. Ate dinner there on both days. Highly recommended. Best food we had!!! Room was huge with lots floor space to pack large luggages too.

1. Delicious Food – The restaurant serves incredibly tasty meals made with the finest organic ingredients. You can tell the chef puts a lot of thought and effort into every dish. Every meal was a delight, and I looked forward to dining there each day!

From the airport pickup to dining arrangements, ticket bookings, a seamless trip to the Great Wall, and finally being dropped back in the city—everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. The staff were thoughtful, attentive, and always ready to help.
3. Reasonable Pricing – Given the high-quality service, delicious food, and smooth arrangements, the price was very fair and affordable. It’s excellent value for money!

It's best for the great wall.
I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity.
To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes.
Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.
