The hotel and our room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Cosy and elegant, with friendly staff.
Breakfast was a buffet with a decent variety of both chinese and western foods, along with staples like fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We had it everyday for 6 days and still weren’t sick of it!
The hotel was in a good location within 10-15min walking distance of the train station, a small local shopping street and two large shopping malls. Most of the restaurants and shops there were patronized by locals (shopkeepers didn’t speak much English, a translation app was a must!), so they were relatively cheap and VERY tasty. No overpriced tourist traps in this area!
Located in Wukesong Business Area, Holiday Inn is a 25-minute drive from Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
