I got excellent deals due to the low demand, on the other hand, as there was not enough guests, they suspended the buffet for the breakfast in the fist two days, only choices for "continental breakfast". It was ok. The third day they put on the buffet and it was awesome.
No parking available, keep that it mind if you need one.
The buildings are interesting.. and the princess of the castle, Martina, was always around purring and interacting!

Viña is a lovely coastal town with lots to offer, especially during the summer. We went in winter time, which just makes me wonder how delightful it would be at 30 degrees instead of 6. But the place is clearly beautiful. A must-go, especially being so easily accessible by bus from Santiago. We took TourBus, new and well-equipped bus with plenty of space, which drops you in the heart of the city.

Nice place with a beautiful view. Payment was very difficult. Took my several hours for several days to troubleshoot. Booked with American Express Card. Once arrived, did not accept card, nor Visa. Wanted bank transfer; then Western Union wire; then cash (in Peso) in drawer. Tried everything (expect drawer); but noting worked and could not use any cards in any scenario. Finally got Peso ($600 US Dollar) through numerous bank machine withdrawals (as limited), then had to use to wire Peso via Western Union (as I refused to leave $ in drawer with no record of transaction). Everything felt very shady. Still have not received any receipt of transaction. At least I have record of wiring the amount. Also; reception had no record/information of our reservation. Lastly; parking gate control stopped working. Otherwise; comfortable place with a beautiful seaside view.

I spent a lot of time just watching the ocean crash against the rock out-cropping.
I love ceviche and I had some delicious meals in Vina.

I have much better expectation. NIce seea, cold water (htat I knew)... but the city is not very nice, very little things to do.
I think it is overvaluer becouse it very close to Santiago, so local people pay sort of "convenience". But is the worst beach place I've ever been And I am in my 60s, especially in VFM

A happening place, the sea breeze and the beach right there. Downtown was fun; shopping and a pleasant visit to the Vergara park, just in time for the artisan fair that will run till Feb 5th. We love it so much so coming back again in February. We stayed at Hotel Diego, very clean and a well run hotel, awesome breakfast. Restaurant menu could include some Italian dishes, food was bland. The location is awesome; walking distance to the beach, streets full of eateries; we had Peruvian food at Aji-Seco and Indian food at Ambika Restaurant was excellent.
Excellent location, in a quaint quiet residential area, a couple blocks from small downtown area. Strong Wi-Fi. Very kind host and staff. Good parking included, even for big vehicles. Very comfortable interior with great beds and spacious bathrooms. Flat smart TV in bedroom. Homemade breakfast. Water fountains with hot and cold water in shared areas. Best price/quality option found in Viña del Mar.

The breakfast was fresh even though literally the same all the days. The host was very friendly and nice making a great atmosphere. The bed was pretty good and warm. The facilities are a bit old, but authentic so to say and generally clean. You must be aware that it's a two star hotel, so don't expect it to be more, and then it's really perfect for the own category.
The Hotel is in a great location beside lots of Restaurants and Bars. Breakfast was really good. It was the same each morning I.e Fresh Fruit and Yogurt. Followed by toasted Ham and Cheese sandwich and a Sweet Cake. Lots of Tea and Coffee. You could eat in the Lobby or your room. Really good. The Wi-Fi was ok not particularly strong.
