This place was AMAZING!! A complete oasis in the mountains where resources are normally limited.
We arrived New Years Day to an authentic lamb BBQ beautifully set outside with a view of the majestic mountains. The rooms had more than er needed including blackout shades (a must have), compostable beds, warm spacious shower, a fan. We were even provided tea and chocolates on arrival. The meals were incredible with an expensive selection of drinks, apps, entrees, etc. The staff was always warm and welcoming. We felt spoiled!

The location is what you are paying for and that was the value compared to others in the village. The small lodge did not have tour groups which was a plus for independent travelers.

Our stay at Konkashken Lodge was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to Patrick, who truly made us feel at home. From the moment we arrived, his warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring we had the best experience were evident.
The dinners at the lodge were fantastic—delicious, hearty meals that were the perfect way to end our adventurous days. Patrick also shared a wealth of knowledge about the area, providing us with excellent recommendations for hiking trails and activities, which made our trip even more special.
Two moments really stood out and exemplified the above-and-beyond service we experienced. First, as we were getting ready to drive out one day, Patrick noticed we had a flat tire. He promptly helped us pump air into the tire and directed us to a nearby place to get it fixed, saving us a lot of trouble. Second, on our last day, we planned to hike Base de Torres but realized we didn’t have trekking poles. Patrick kindly let us borrow some from the lodge. Since we didn’t return to the lodge after our hike but headed to town instead, he even arranged for us to drop off the trekking poles with someone in town.
The lodge itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly situated to take in the stunning Patagonian scenery. The personal touches and attention to detail, combined with Patrick’s outstanding care, made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Torres del Paine, we can’t recommend Konkashken Lodge enough. It’s a true gem, and we can’t wait to return someday!
