The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. It was very clean and the room was comfortable with a great shower. I appreciated the coffee machine!

Very friendly, open and helpful owners Jorge and Constanza.
And lovely pets Benito and Tomaso.
The breakfast is rich and the beef and the salmon were delicious - fantastic dinner.
The view from the dining hall is amazing.
The hot tub is excellent after a long trekking.
Perfect place for relaxing.
This is the real end of the world (not Ushuaia 😊)!

I highly recommend staying in this beautiful place. The hosts are super welcoming, communication was excellent from the beginning. They picked me up in the middle of the night from the ferry, fire already lit and the hut cozy and warm. Whenever they went to a trip they would offer me to join or helped me with transportation whereever I wanted to go. Two times I had dinner with them and the food was super delicious and fresh and we had nice conversations though my Spanish is very little, but translator helped ;) It`s a calm and peaceful place with beautiful view onto the Beagle Canal and Argentinia`s mountains and lovely free raoming horses are your neighbors. You can easily walk to the nearby waterfalls and the botanical garden. The town centre is a bit further, but still walkable. Otherwise there would alwas be someone to give you a lift. I was happily surprised, that there was WI-FI. It was not always working super fast, but was good enough to plan my further travels and sometimes would even work for videos etc. and will probably improve in future. I stayed four days and wished I had not booked my flight in advance so I could have stayed longer. For the ones who are worried about keeping the fire going: Arturo would always come to help, but there was also a gas stove to bridge some time without the wood stove.

Cozy and rustic refugio right at the Beagle Channel at a stone throw away from the ferry docking location. The roofed porch is the perfect place to watch the channel for passing whales. Owner Arturo was very welcoming and accommodating, ever ready to share his knowledge of the island’s interesting spots. The communal space has the homely feel (for me) thanks to the wood stove and sweet resident cat. NB: it is currently receiving TLC by a long-term volunteer, a skilled carpenter. Also, I do not recognize the more critical comments. I would definitely stay again and do not hesitate to recommend Jemmy Button.
Located in Puerto Williams in the Magallanes region, Casa, central a orilla de playa has a balcony and mountain views.

The owner Mr. Anibal is a lovely person that make our stay the best experience! He went to pick-up us at the Airport and take us back in our departure. He also arranged an exceptional Tour with an experienced Tour Guide named Gabriel who presented Navarino Island on its beauty for us. The house has everything you need to a short or a long stay feeling at home!
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming.
Puerto Williams looks like it used to be more charming. Perhaps we came during the Christmas and New Years holiday, but nearly all of the shops and restaurants were closed.
I heard that it never really bounced back after COVID, but I am hopeful that we were just there during a slow time, since some of the restaurants and shops looks really charming from the outside. A local told us that it's a combination of things.
Cruise ships do stop here, so I am hopeful.
However, we did walk around and get some snacks from the local market and sat with a wonderful view of the channel to enjoy our purchases. There were some cafes down near the wharf that we didn't have time to visit.
All of the locals were very friendly and helpful. Knowing Spanish is a great help.

Charming town with lots of little shops for its size.
Charming town with lots of little shops for its size. We were here just after the tourist season which may be why so many were closed. But we came for the trekking which did not disappoint.
The town is friendly and myself (49 male) and my 19YO daughter felt comfortable walking anywhere in town at any hour.

Most people seem to come to do the 5-day trekking around the Dientes de Navarino. Yet even a less ambitious visit is worth the effort. The Anthropological museum and the Ethnobotanical park give a good understanding of the unique history and nature of this subantarctic region. To crown it all, the Restaurant Puerto Williams serves excellent shellfish and fish from the local waters.

This is a small town of 4000 with gravfel roads and an unfinished feel to it. Great for hikes and horseback riding. And you really feel like this is the end of the world. Ushuaia was nice but in a very different way, too polished, a touristy town.
I only went to Puerto Williams because I didn't want to pass by the southernmost town on earth. So I only spent one day but could have stayed 3 or 4. I was very pleasantly surprised. They have an excellent little museum well worth going. Plus some small atractions, a Chilean military museum ship, hikes, rides etc. And an excellent restaurant. I really liked the feel of the town.
If you can, take the 36 hour ferry from Punta Arena (Chile, not every day!) through the fjords to Puerto Williams (cost 135 USD), then go by speed boat (once a day! 2 hour jeep ride, 30 minutes boat ride, cost 120 USD one way) across the Beagle Canal to Ushuaia. Or vice versa. Formalities are very easy. No problem at all. Just hand in your passport, get it stamped, pay the embarcation fee (cheap) and off you go. Ask your hostel.

Puerto Williams is a small working town nestled into a coastal section of the Island. Surrounding the town, to the south, is a mountain range with fantastic hiking. Easy access to good restaurants with wonderful, fresh seafood. Supermercados lack fresh fruit and vegetables. Companies are available to arrange tours.
