This was the nicest rental place that we have stayed at in Chile. It was well built, clean, and comfortable. It was across the street from the beach. It had onsite parking.

The cottage is very comfortable. Had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was nice. We communicated through Google Translate. Had a wood stove for heat, so that might be a problem for some folks. We were fine with it.

The room was big with a table and chairs and comfortable beds. The breakfast was ready when we needed with eggs cooked to order and plenty of fruits, breads and cereal. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location to explore the Marble Caves, glaciers, the confluence of the local rivers, the Patagonia National Park. Really one of the most beautiful areas that I have ever visited. So glad to have experienced it before it gets more well known and bigger. Will definitely go back.

The road here is hard off-road. The town itself is small, you can get around in an hour. There are places to eat. Grocery stores are tiny, the choice is minimal, and prices are high. A small selection of hotels and very expensive. But there is incredible natural beauty here! And if you are interested in the Marble Caves, then you will have to put up with some inconvenience.

This is the place to see the marble caves and we were not disappointed.
This is a small tourist oriented place on the way to Patagonia. Very attractive, lots of camping and hostel accommodations. Has a gas station and supermarket that had a surprisingly diverse amount of food for reasonable prices. Great base to explore the area.

The hotel is towards the back of the small town so quiet (but no lake view consequently). It is newly built with modern rooms. Very comfortable large double bed, good heating system, spacious bathroom with great shower and plentiful hot water. Staff were nice and friendly and we managed to communicate despite our lack of Spanish. There is an excellent kitchen facility which you can use to cook for yourself, and it includes all the necessary implements you will need for simple food. We would certainly stay here again.
A new hotel in Puerto Tranquiilo. Very well presented and modern big bathroom facilities.Parking was free. The host is very friendly, polite and helpful with information on what to do on our free day as our planned excursion was cancelled. Breakfast was quite adequate. There was a common area where you could have a cuppa or prepare yourself a meal if you wanted. Wifi was very good.
This is a very comfortable hotel right in the centre of town and across the lake. The first night we stayed in a 2-bedroom unit with bathroom, kitchen and living area. It was spacious and the heating was great. The second night we stayed in a 1-bedroom unit but it was still very spacious and comfortable.
