The beautiful and off the beaten track location was just what we needed. The house and garden are lovely, and we were thankful for the gorgeous pool, using it every afternoon. We had a large en suite bedroom with its own private verandah onto the garden. This was delightful; and we were very happy with the comfort of the large bed (and beautiful cotton sheets!)
But above all, special mention goes to Isabel. She made our stay extra special and was always available should we need her. Her breakfasts of fresh (home grown) fruit are legendary, and she cooked for us and two other guests for Christmas.
We love the local area of Colchagua, and visited two vineyards - Viu Manent and Mont Gras. You really do need a car here as it is a fair distance away from anything. But that is part of its appeal.
We can highly recommend Vina Kinkura and would definitely stay again should we travel to this area.

Fantastic, typically Chilean breakfast. Although the location is not convenient, this hotel is not meant for business travel but for getaways/honeymoons/etc. and in that sense the location was great as it was in a quiet town in the Colchagua valley and close to the vineyards.
The building is a typical 'casa patronal'/Chilean manor house and it has been nicely maintained, with decorations reflecting Chilean 'huaso' culture and the nearby vineyards.
The host was friendly and very helpful. Hooked us up with a trusted taxi driver in the area who gave us decent rates and was crucial to our mobility that weekend. Massages and horse riding were lovely and were easily organised via the host.
