I wouldn’t recommend to rent this place during the winter...
I wouldn’t recommend to rent this place during the winter time. It was very cold inside of the cabin. We had to sleep in skiing jackets and hats. The owners do not provide heaters and it’s next to impossible to heat up the bedrooms. They have a wood stove that doesn’t make much difference. In addition, we had to wake up every two hours to add wood in the stove. However, I can imagine this place can be lovely if you stay during the summer since the view and surroundings are beautiful.

This hotel is a gem in Panguipulli. Their rooms are cozy and well equipped, with some even having a small private yard. The staff is very very friendly and super accommodating. The hotel is close enough to the centre of the city, but not so much that you run into people all the time, and if you are travelling by car you are right next to the highway that takes you to the lakes. The staff allowed us to check in much earlier and even gave us breakfast upon arrival! The lounge is very comfortable and they play good music!
Cabañas Borgolafquen is a resort with a number of cabins. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Panguipulli Lake. Our three bedroom cabin was spacious and well stocked with supplies. The only source of heat is the wood stove, which most of the time was not necessary to use. It was quiet and peaceful and the town of Panguipulli was about a 15 minute drive. The location was great for exploring the area.
A cabana located near the lake Panguipulli (although not right on the shore). There is also the owner's house nearby and the second cabana was in the process of completion. On the other side of the property near the entry there is also a camping ground. In general quite good and isolated place but don't expect too much privacy.
People is very nice and the hotel cute and clean. We enjoy the conversation with other guests and with the people that works at the hotel. Location is very good and quiet.
