Ruben is an amazing person and an incredible host.
Peuma lodge is located in a breath taking forest clearing with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains, a small river crossing the grassy land, it's absolutely perfect.
We stayed in a specious and beautifully decorated wooden cabin with the MOST comfortable bed we had in our entire 2 months vacation.
The place had a fire place that keeps it warm and cozy.
The bathroom was very big and luxurious, it was a pleasure.
We were arrived after a long drive and spent 2 nights.
Although there are many trails and other attractions in the area - with which Ruben can help you - the weather was rainy so we decided to stay in and had the most comfortable stay we could ever hope for.
We got to use the hot tub and sauna, play ping-pong in the club house, walk around the wooden paths and read a book by the fireplace in the beautiful common area and it was absolutely magical.
Ruben was so attentive to anything we needed!
We would 100% stay here again if we are in the area!

Cesar was welcoming and had a fire going for us when we arrived. We were able to do laundry there. (Washer only, clothesline to dry.) Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was complete.

Super comfy beds and spacious rooms. Kitchen was functional but pretty basic (lots of spices but they're all empty sadly), showers were hot, staff was super helpful and nice. Loved chatting with Laura!
Super clean and cosy hostel with super attentive staff, marvellous views and two supersweet dogs. Had an amazing time here and ended up staying much longer than anticipated :D Owners are friendly and will help you with any doubts you might have. Everything is super clean, showers are great and you can use an outdoor and an indoor kitchen. If you plan on visiting Futaleufú, I highly recommend staying at Mirlos!
The hostel felt like home; the hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and everyone I interacted with was very nice. The building itself is architecturally beautiful, in a great location, and nicely decorated. Would stay there anytime I go to Futaleufu.
