Casa Ayacara is an historic building has been beautifully restored and renovated with modern facilities. It's conveniently located, not far from the Teatro de Lagos, and walkable to restaurants and activities. Breakfast is served downstairs with a view of the theater and the lake. The room is comfortable with a small sitting table next to the window. The bandurrias that hang out in the nearby trees are an early alarm clock. The majority of staff is friendly and helpful.

Great location right in front of the lake. We managed to get a wonderful garden view, the garden is so beautiful, it looks like it was out of a fairy tale.
Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, any queries we had, they were always a great help.
Rooms were very nice and clean with big and comfortable beds.
The bathrooms were very clean and well supplied with toiletries.
Breakfast included was delicious, supplied with a variety of fresh and locally sourced items such as traditional southern kutchen, fresh eggs and fruit.
The location was great, within walking distance to local artisan shops and the beautiful lake.

I have always loved Frutillar for its magnificent views of the lake and snow-capped volcano. The town is neat, peaceful, with good cultural activities at the Teatro del Lago where concerts, shows and even opera take place. There is not a large variety of restaurants but Puerto Varas, a nearby city has plenty of them. The scenery around the area is very beautiful with lots of activities to engage in. There is a lot of rain so everything is green and blooming in spring.

I loved the atmosphere of Casa Ayacara, it was everything I imagined. Like stepping into a hotel from the 20's with wooden floor and wooden everything. Just lovely. Staff was welcoming and very hospitable.
The newly opened restaurant (not part of the hotel but in the same room where breakfast is served) served perfect homemade Italian pasta and it wasd the best breakfast we had in all of Chile.
Amazing stay. If I go back to Frutillar I would definitely book here again. The staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast tasty, excellent location and even more impressive when you take into account the price.
The rooms and the hotel as a whole are beautiful. Very comfortable bed and the setting as a whole is wonderful. The bathroom is large, and very comfortable. The contents of the breakfast are wonderful.
The hotel is amazing, nice room, with incredible view to the lake from all rooms. The breakfast is really nice and healthy, perfect for an outdoor day.
