With high mountains all around. Where neighbors stop to talk to each other. Old men passing you slowly on their quite rusty bikes. Like walking around in a movie. Or you can buy excellent vine from one of the vineyards close by. La Casa Vanilla is a family stay. With the friendliest people I met among my 11 different accommodations in Chile. Outside your room is a very nice big garden. With flowers and small birds. And a big enough pool. Recommended!

Great house in the little town of Casablanca, quiet location, 10 minutes from the centre of town. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, quality linen, plenty of blankets. Lots of hot water and good water pressure throughout. We took the bus from Santiago, you can hail the bus on Route 68 to get to Valparasio/ Viña del Mar (4000 peso). Enzo was a friendly and helpful host.
