Happening place offering Nature for all you can do, feel both in winter and summer. I went to take part in the VEBF ebike festival in August. Nice food and eateries, Pricy as is to be expected in Switzerland

Verbier is quite expensive (restaurants, bars, shops and ski passes). Due to high altitude snow conditions are good. Busses are free in the whole village (which is big) and run every 15 minutes. There are 4 supermarkets, so you can get everything you need.

A top skiing area well suited for experienced skiers,...
A top skiing area well suited for experienced skiers, especially for free-riding, off-piste skiing and ski touring. Less suited for beginners or less capable skiers. Some modern, high-capacity lifts, but also a number of slow, outdated lifts (below the standard of e.g. Zermatt, Val Thorens/Trois Vallées, Val D'Isere/Tignes). For instance, the 200 Verbier-Savoleyres and 118 Lac des Vaux 2 lifts represent 1970s technology suited for a museum. The connection between individual ski areas (e.g. Col de Gentianes, Col de Chassoure to Siviez, Plan de Fou, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon) can be challenging in bad weather conditions. They are ungroomed ski routes which is definitely attractive to capable skiers (our perspective) but less for others. In addition, the connecting cable car (Tortin-Col de Gentianes) and chair lift (118 Lac des Vaux 2) are often closed in bad weather conditions. Be aware that Verbier is a rather "posh" place. If one likes it, fine. If not, get accommodation in the quiet residential areas of upper Verbier. As the "Quattre Vallées" ski areas are close to the urban agglomerations of Geneve, Lausanne, Sion etc., there is a high number of skiers on the weekend, even outside peak seasons.

Perfect location for a short trip, easy access by train from Geneva airport, cable cars from le Chable to Verbier really easy to use. All the lifts and cable cars well looked after. The town is very clean and we can see there is care to have it that way. Good shops, with designer clothes and good restaurants. Easy transport in the town with free bus. Plenty of ski schools. Only been there in winter season for ski. But can see plenty to do in summer season.
Verbier is a bit hilly, so good to keep the heart moving, but is all very accessible walking good pavement. Plenty of ski rental and buy shops, and souvenirs shops also. Everyone i encounter were always very friendly and helpful.

Verbier and 4 Valleys has a huge number and variety of ski runs. However some runs are unpisted so most skiers will take lift down. Some lifts including those needed to get between the valleys are very old. There are limited activities for non-skiers. For the right people - good skiers and apres skiers with money - it is a paradise; for others it is just very expensive.

Wonderful hotel with stunning views, friendly staff, and lovely vintage decor! Compact but very complete Spa facility with everything one needs to relax: lovely pool, hammam, sauna, and nice showers, completed with indoor and outdoor loungers. Spacious garage, some allocated street parking as well. Good breakfast, with indoor and outdoor seating (when summer most likely) in the garden. Lovely bar. Beautiful toiletries, soaps and shampoos provided in the rooms and spa facility. Fantastically located for the Verbier music festival.
Incredible staff, went above and beyond to help accommodate requests for an extended stay during peak New Years period. Made me feel very much at home and welcomed whilst staying in the wonderful Swiss Alps. The Location is perfect, close to the lifts, and perfectly located within throwing distance of the two best clubs / bars in town Farm Club and Fahrenheit and right across the road from the secret midnight bakery 🤫. Highly recommend this hotel for a great stay at affordable rates, will be back next season for sure!
Great location, just right after W hotel and can’t be easier for skiers. The apartment is stylish and cosy with amazing view which is perfect for family. The facilities are modern and adequate. The storage design is well thought and convenient. The host is very friendly and helpful. It’s our first time to Verbier and we really appreciate the host’s guidance and recommendations.
The hotel location is fantastic - between Place Central and Medran. So it’s walkable with your gear if you’ve come by train into Le Chable. Heated boot and ski room. Lots of hot water. Family run. Comfortable but basic. Unpretentious. Good value - remember you’re staying right in the centre of one of the world’s premier ski resorts.
Extremely lovely Norwegian family run hotel that left memorable experience. Rooms were small, comfortable and very clean with beautiful view. Location was convenient just steps away from Verbier centre with selection of restaurants. There is parking available right at the entrance.
