Room was terrific. Compared to three other hotels we stayed at in Switzerland, including a luxury resort on Lake Thun, this hotel was superior to them the all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only hotel where we stayed that the air conditioning worked and actually cooled the room. Breakfast was outstanding. Checking in was quick and easy, even though we arrived on a Wednesday when the hotel was closed.
Located 6.4 miles from Konstanz Central Station, Hotel Arenenberg offers 3-star accommodations in Salenstein and has a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.
Located in Stein am Rhein, Hotel Rheingerbe has a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar.

A very well mannered staff that really went above and beyond to welcome us
First, the positives:
• Great location – on the edge of the lake, lush lawns, pleasant outdoor lakeside breakfast/meal/drinks ambience, walking distance to shops, supermarket and (less expensive) eateries;
• The rooms were new and clean;
• Storage space in the rooms was at least (barely) adequate (unlike many other hotels, in other countries);
• The wifi worked; and
• The meals were good
The hotel is located in a quiet location, next to a lakeside park. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Very good breakfast in the very nice restaurant nearby. good wi-fi. Free parking.
The restaurant (where lunch and dinner can be also served) is in a beautiful old building with a splendid terrace near the lake. The staff is very nice and the service is very good.
