The whole house is beautiful, and the views of the mountains are stunning. Our apartment was cozy, and the spacious bathroom with a big tub was a nice touch. It was a sweet surprise to find chocolate on our pillows! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our experience even better. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there.
I come to this region since 47 years already. Sierre itself is a place with a very relaxed atmosphere. There is a castle - Chateau Mercier, access to Europ‘s longes cable car to Crans Montana, post bus to Valle d‘Anniviers some wine tour (I have no personal experience with) and plenty of restaurants for a 16k population place. Sierre can be accessed by train (my fav method). It is surrounded by majestic mountains and vineyards on the lower hill slopes. Most locals are friendly and the overall atmosphere is inviting for unwinding.

I am very happy with Castel de Daval. We were met by the owner of the hotel, who was extremely friendly; the rooms were very comfortable; and the view overseeing the vineyards was spectacular. I highly recommend it!
