Hotel Tell is great!! The rooms are very clean, the beds sleep really good. The breakfast is extensive, and everything tastes good. But most, we arrived I a snowstorm and they went above and beyond to help us, with us being unprepared for this.

The incredibly kind and helpful staff! We do not speak German and their English speaking ability was so appreciated. The manager upgraded our room. The view from the dining area is spectacular! The food was good, and the wait staff was so kind to help me avoid foods at the buffet with nuts, due to an allergy. Also the art work on display throughout the site was fantastic!

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.

Perfect place!
Perfect place! It´s a very calm place and you will experience the real contact with the nature. In this region, you will have a lot of places to visit, or just to take a seat and enjoy the view of the lake.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tell. Myself and my little dog were made to feel so welcome, the staff even keep a little box of dog treats behind the counter for their furry friends! The staff were also extremely friendly, and very accommodating of my poor German. The food and wine was delicious, and I slept very comfortably in the single room with the incredible mountain view. Everything was clean and comfortable - I would certainly recommend Hotel Tell to anyone passing through Seelisberg.
Very clean and tidy, had all the essentials we needed and was really pleased that a Swiss plug adapter had been left for us to use as I did not realise that I would need one which was different to the other countries in Europe that I have visited. We had originally booked for the hotel next door which was much more expensive and did not have 24 hr check in and because our flight was very late and delayed, I’m really pleased we changed. Beautiful scenery.
The hospitality and professionalism received from the staff was exceptional. The restaurant and the food was absolutely top notch, the food, the quality, presentation and balance of flavours was indeed 5 star. I believe the restaurant and the hotel was taken over just in 2022. This place should not be only a 3 star. The view was out of a postcard, absolutely stunning. The hotel is greatly undervalued.
Beautiful nature, we hiked near the hotel and saw a small family of deer. The hotel is decent but clearly old. The room was very hot. Breakfast was very basic.
